Meetings are held monthly with a primary concentration on the designing and building of websites. Members learn together as they share their experiences and ideas. In addition to Dreamweaver, we explore all the apps Adobe has to offer, such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator, just to name a few.
Our group is comprised of the experienced designer to newbies, who are looking for a networking group of like-minded individuals. We have been learning together as an Adobe Users Group for over five years, and we want to share our knowledge and experience to help you be the best you can be as a web designer or business owner to help you reach your goals.
We learn together and, best of all, membership is free. You have a standing invitation to join us at any time. You will have the opportunity to learn from some of our members and guest speakers on how to grow your business through your website. All members have benefited from belonging to the group and want to give back to you and the community.
Rob is the User Group Manager. Rob is responsible for leading and managing SAWS, along with ensuring that Adobe guidelines for User Groups are followed. Rob has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) | Graphic Design, and he has had many years in the graphics industry. Rob has his teaching certification as Audio Video (A|V) high school teacher in the San Antonio area. He is very interested in all aspects of Adobe and enjoys teaching the group.
Kay is Assistant User Group Manager. Kay's responsibities include planning and leading the monthly SAWS meetings, along with maintaining the SAWS website. She has been a member of SAWS since its inception and is an avid user of all Adobe apps in her daily workflow as a web developer. Kay brings to the group over 40 years of experience in business, web design, Search Engine Optimization, and social media. She is the owner of Website Solutions Company.
Gay Carnes is Assistant User Group Manager. Gay's responsiblities include managing the SAWS social media platforms, along with editing the monthly meeting videos. Gay has been an avid supporter of Adobe Products for many years and has been using Dreamweaver and other Adobe products to design and build websites. She also uses InDesign for magazine and book production. Gay enjoys studying the ever-changing Adobe products and passing her knowledge on to others.
